Dionna Burks

Patient Care Coordinator

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, raised in Chesapeake, VA, and then moved to Memphis, TN. I have worked for UPS as a package handler, Old Navy, Cato Fashion, Teavana, and OrthoSouth.

I handle insurance verifications, customer service, phone etiquette, conflict resolution, and cash flow management.

Core Value: Always treat others with the utmost respect. You never know if you will have to encounter that person at a time of need for yourself.

“You control the thermostat for the day. Only control what you can control. Control the controllable”

I specialize in helping patients and staff navigate through problem-solving, handling all patient and staff needs as a Patient Care Coordinator.

I want to help patients overcome the fear that they can’t get better or that they may give up before completing therapy.

The atmosphere, the quality of care provided to the patients coming in and out of the doors, and the fact that as a team, we enjoy and make time for things outside the clinic. Not only are patient successes celebrated, but staff is also celebrated when good things happen. The grace that is given to staff when I make mistakes.

trevor and his team with peak potential improved my sleep! i presented to his facility with nagging hip and groin pain. during my assessment, i mentioned my hands and fingers going numb and waking me up in the middle of the night causing me sleep deprivation symptoms. he went to work on my upper spine and completely removed the numbness and tingling. not only did he and his team work on my hip, but they removed whole body issues that were negatively affecting my recovery. my hip and groin pain no longer wake me up from sleep either, and i am able to continue doing the physical activities that i enjoy! from the front door with their patient care coordinator (((Di))) to the back door, my last visit with (((Elena))), i’ve been nothing but loved and cared for by this team. highly recommend.

I had my first visit with Sam (PT) on 7/26. He was very thorough! He suggested some stretching techniques to help with my bicep irritation. He’s pin pointed the issue and it’s already feeling better! The staff is outstanding! D, at the front desk (patient intake) has a bubbly and inviting personality that will make you feel wanted and appreciated for being a patient! PEAK POTENTIAL is my PT from now on!

The folks at PP are great. From Dee who does the scheduling and always greets me with smile to the therapists who have worked on me. They ask good questions to understand my need and then set out to minimize and relieve my discomfort. Thank you Peak Potential.
