Physical Therapist Assistant

Elena Yanes is one of the most dedicated and caring people we know, both in and out of the clinic. As a former competitive swimmer, she knows firsthand how an injury can change a person’s life as well as the importance of getting back to the things you love. Throughout her career she has pursued all things exercise and fitness with not one, but three degrees from Delta State University – Bachelor’s of Science, Master’s of Health and Physical Education, and a Master’s in Exercise Science.

After several years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor she went back to school to become a physical therapist assistant. Professionally, she is most passionate about sports rehabilitation and helping clients with jaw pain (temporal mandibular disorder). Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband Evan and son Gabriel.
