But, you know your body would be optimized with more protein and less sugar.

I’ve got you covered! Chocolate protein donut holes are high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Baked instead of fried and even gluten free. Enjoy!

  • 1/4 cup Cacao Powder

  2. Combine all dry ingredients and whisk well to combine, set aside.

  3. Combine yogurt and egg and whisk well to combine.

  4. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients.

  5. Use cookie scoop to form 12 uniform balls.

  6. Place on cookie sheet and back for 15 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool, or roll in extra swerve powdered sugar while still warm.

*Different protein powders may respond differently. I used a Grass fed, cold filtered whey protein as I find this is best for baking. Watch out for added fillers and products that use lesser quality proteins in the mix. Added digestive enzymes also help the protein I use to be more easily digested and used by the body.
